Ethanol, the alcohol we find in alcoholic drinks is in fact a poison. It is not a particularly strong poison but never the less it is a poison. It makes the drinker intoxicated and light headed, both of which are pleasant feelings, and are the reasons most people drink. But some people become addicted to it and can't live without a regular drink. And usually quite a lot as well. They turn into a regular drunken bum. They drink rapidly to become drunk - a famous case was the fabulous soccer player George Best who appeared in a TV interview drunk. But he was sober and hadn't had a drink when the interviewer left him in the studio's recreation room to start the show. 15 minutes later Best was introduced and was clearly drunk. In just 15 minutes of rapid drinking!

Some stupid people have drinking competitions, to see who can drink the most, or to see who can drink a bottle of whisky or vodka the fastest. Unfortunately, the amount of ethanol in a full bottle is just about enough to kill you. And it regularly does.

The poison also kills brain cells and over a long period of time leads to brain damage.

The health benefits of milk can be achieved from milk directly or its products such as cheese, butter, curd, clarified butter or ghee, dairy whitener, ice cream, cottage cheese or paneer, flavored milk, milk sweets etc. The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has clearly mentioned in its Dietary Guidelines to include milk and milk products in the diet.

Deficiency Symptoms: Milk deficiency can cause severe anemia, osteoporosis and other related illnesses. Milk consumption is very essential to maintain good health and doing normal activities. It is the best source of calcium for all age groups.

Calcium: Milk is the best source of calcium supply to our body. Calcium protects the body from major chronic ailments such as cancerous chemicals, bone loss, arthritic condition, migraine headaches, pre-menstrual syndrome, and obesity in children and aids in losing unwanted fats.
Healthy Bones: As mentioned above, milk is rich in calcium, which is very essential for growth and proper development of strong bone structure. Bone disorders such as osteoporosis can be prevented with daily intake of adequate quantity of milk. Children deprived of cow milk have an increased chance of bone fractures when injured.
Healthy Teeth: Encouraging children and youngsters to drink milk would give them excellent dental health, as milk protects the enamel surface against acidic substances. Rehydration: Fluids are an integral part of human body. The body needs to be replenished with liquids at regular intervals. It is very essential for growing children and they must drink at least six to eight glasses of fluid every day. Milk contains a good quantity of water molecules and is considered the best fluid for rehydration.
Skin Care: Have you heard of Cleopatra, the Queen of Nile? She was considered one of the most beautiful women of all times. Well you will be surprised if I tell you that Cleopatra used to have a milk bath daily! She used to mix honey and milk and take a bath daily enabling her maintain soft and beautiful skin. Since thousands of years, milk is known to benefit our skin by helping us maintain a fair and smooth complextion. Hence, even today milk and milk products are used in a number of cosmetic preparations. Milk is also good for dry skin. If you have a dry skin apply milk on your face (and other body parts), leave it for about 15 minutes and then wash it. The milk solids nourish and smoothen your skin. The lactic acid present in milk is known to aid in removing the dead skin cells, thereby rejuvenating your skin.
Improving Diet and Vitamin Intake: According to medical research, drinking milk considerably improves our intakes of vital minerals and vitamins. A man who consumes a carton of whole milk doubles his chances of fulfilling calcium requirement per day, whereas, another person consuming a can of fizzy or carbonated drink may in reality lower his calcium levels by one third percent.

Antony : Hello Ajith, Very nice to have a conversation with you after a long time. How is ur life in Qatar? Can we know more about ur job and life there in Qatar?

Ajith O: Hai, first of all I would like to take this opportunity to tell tanks to everybody in Rural Mama, for remembering me. I came here (Qatar) on 4th Feb 2010. Before coming I thought it is so easy to get a job here with the support of my brother and brother in law. I got good offers from some companies, but unfortunately they doesn’t have Indian visa. First six months I didn’t get any jobs. Still I couldn’t remember those days. That time I was planned to go back to India. After these six months of suffering, by the grace of god I got one good job In this company as a Product Manager.
Now I am very happy here. Qatar is a very beautiful and safe place for us.

Antony : Can we know about ur life in Rural Team when you were an AM?

Ajith O : When I was in Ipru rural team, I enjoyed a lot off, Because I had good friends like u people and I got a good team and a very good boss.

Antony : What is ur biggest learning from Insurance Industry?

Ajith O: Knowledge about insurance and Indian share market.

Antony : Being in Middle East and away from the Family, How are you coping with your personal life? I mean the advantage and disadvantages of being away from home town?

Ajith O: Now only I came to know the importance of my family and their needs for me. It is very difficult to be get away from them especially my loving daughter. Now I miss her a lot.

Antony : Being a good NRI, If I approach you as a customer, How would you react and which policy would you intend to take?

Ajith O: Definitely I will appreciate you for approaching me and I will tell u, “my dear friend why u r unnecessary wasting your valuable time with me. I am also studied in this same school, so u please have a cup of coffee and will say bye”.

Antony : So I guess that this should be the reason you left the Industry..Na?..Ok Jokes apart tell me Ajith, Which is the unforgettable incident in your life?

Ajith O: It is very difficult to get driving license in GCC at first chance. But I got it with my first chance. It was a wonderful experience in my life.


Antony : What is the biggest aim in your life?

Ajith O: My biggest aim for the future is to gain HAPPINESS in life.. Our all long term and short term aims revolve around just one thing.that is to be happy in life..


Antony : Something about your family?

Ajith O: I am married and having one kid. My wife is working in a government sector and my daughter is 4yrs old.

Antony : Who is your role model in life & why?

Ajith O: I don’t have any specific role model. I myself is the role model for me, but I believe in god. He will give work ship for maintaining all the good things .

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool and laughs & dances & plays the summer away.

Come winter, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.


Indian Version:

Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

NDTV, BBC, CNN show up to provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

The World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this poor Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house.

Endosulfan is an off-patent organochlorine insecticide and acaricide. This colourless solid has emerged as a highly controversial agrichemicaldue to its acute toxicity, potential for bioaccumulation, and role as an endocrine disruptor. It is banned in more than 63 countries, including the European Union, Australia and New Zealand, and other Asian and West African nations, and being phased out in the United States,Brazil and Canada. It is still used extensively in many other countries including India and China. It is produced by Bayer CropScience, Makhteshim Agan, and Government-of-India–owned Hindustan Insecticides Limited among others. Because of its threats to the environment, a global ban on the use and manufacture of endosulfan is being considered under the Stockholm Convention.

Why is Good Friday referred to as “good”? What the Jewish authorities and Romans did to Jesus was definitely not good (see Matthew chapters 26-27). However, the results of Christ’s death are very good! During the Last Supper, Jesus took bread and wine and shared them with his disciples. We continue to share bread and wine as part of their worship in church. The night of Maundy Thursday is the night on which Jesus was betrayed by Judas in the Garden of Gethsemane.

The name ‘Maundy’ is derived from the Latin word “mandatum”, meaning a commandment. Jesus Christ, at the Last Supper, commanded: – ‘And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.’ John 15:12

In Roman Catholic churches the anthem Mandatum novum do vobis (a new commandment I give to you) would be sung on Maundy Thursday. Maundy coins are specially minted for the occasion and are legal tender and, as they are produced in such limited numbers, they are much sought after by collectors.

We commemorate the Last Supper in a special Eucharist. In some churches, they may wash each other’s feet. After the service the altar is stripped. Some Christians may hold an all night vigil in church, remembering Christ’s time in the Garden of Gethsemane.

The husband of a pregnant wife was thinking of buying insurance for his unborn baby.

So he asked Birla Sun Life and the agent said "Don't worry man, we'll provide insurance right FROM THE BASKET TO THE CASKET".

The man was impressed but thought that he should probably seek another opinion.
He then approached ICICI Prudential and the agent replied "Oh, we have a new insurance policy which can protect your unborn child FROM THE WOMB RIGHT UP TO THE TOMB".

The man was stunned but thought that maybe all salesmen like to bullshit and decided to see the agent from LIC of India.

He told the LIC agent what Prudential and Birla had to offer. The LIC agent thought for a while and then said "Tell you something, we have one that is even better than Prudential and Birla. We'll insure your child FROM ERECTION TO RESURRECTION".
